Velcro: What a rip-off… ay Chubb?

Velcro is designed to stick! Well unfortunately it didn't stick in Mr Mark Howard's mind when he set off for the NEC on Friday morning. We're sure there's some driving around with you Chubb, how could your forget

Citizen Christmas Party!

On Wednesday 21st December, The Granary hotel played host to the Citizen Christmas party! It was clear that everyone had on their dancing shoes, or dancing stockings in some cases, and everyone was in the Christmas spirit throughout the night…no one wanted it to end! The food was great and the entertainment equally so…a night that will be remembered for a long time no doubt.

Citizen meets da Vinci

On 16th December 2011 the Citizen team were treated to tickets to see Leonardo da Vinci's rarest surviving paintings at The National Gallery in London. A herd of 19 made the trip down to the capital, however not everything went to plan. The train decided to have a 'casual stop' for nearly an hour, putting the whole day in jeopardy, however with some speedy changeovers and last minute organisation the team managed to reach the gallery in the nick of time. The day was a success and the exhibition was an amazing spectacle for everyone.

Fancy dress anyone?

Before any events can hit the road, Citizen must make sure everything required by the client (from plasma TVs to actors) is sourced and ready for the day. This often means lorry of strange props arriving at our headquarters - to the delight (and bewilderment at times) of our studio team. Here they are seen modelling some spare costumes sourced for Orange Contact Centre activity days promoting 'swappables' which make up customers' great value price plans.

Step into Citizen's Magic Circle

Our Copywriter's nickname is Magic Marker, not just because he can do amazing things with words on paper, but because he's a bit of an illusionist, and his name is Mark. If you've got 5 minutes, check out his latest tricks below. He's capable of turning lottery tickets into money and changing 1p into £10... Don't ask us how he does it…

Director goes for Atom-ic power

If you're ever visiting Worcestershire and you witness something sounding like an aeroplane on wheels –there's a good chance it's Citizen Director Martin in his new toy.

The Ariel Atom is a high performance sports car made by the Ariel Motor Company based in Somerset. It's unusual in that it is exoskeletal – the chassis is prominently visible from the outside and therefore lacks a roof, windows and NORMAL features found on a NORMAL person's car. If you ever pop into the studio, ask Martin nicely and he might take you for a spin. Though we advise against it…

Udder chaos at Sony Tradeshow!

Sometimes there's just no escaping the office…farm! A highland cow was shot dead after it brought motorway traffic to a standstill when it escaped from an abattoir. Unfortunately for Citizen Directors Martin, Julie and Designer Rob, it picked a bad day to moooove as they were stranded for two hours on the M9 North during the trip to the Sony Tradeshow at Glen Eagles where the steaks were high!
